Diablo IV Level Expansion - My Patch Ideas
Aug-01-2023 PSTLeveling 1-50 in Diablo 4 seems like an uneven experience based on player expectations and the build someone is doing (and maybe a bit of luck and skill). Here are some suggestions for trying to balance the circle between those who prefer a harder, slower style and those who want something more paced like D3 and the games inspired by it.
1. Decrease mob level on WT1
Not much, maybe 1-2 levels. Just enough to move the curve up so that various skill levels and player builds can get ahead in level ratio, but there's also an incentive to play WT2 to get higher levels.
2. Gradually break the level ratio when you reach 50 in WT1/2
Since the level ratio stops at 50, players can hit the dead zone between 40 and 50, which keeps getting harder, but their power doesn't keep up. Your gear upgrade items are rarer and more expensive to print/upgrade and the skill points will be worth less when you get passive items later. Beyond 50 it will continue because you can fight with lower level stuff. Instead of adjusting the mob balance at levels 40-50, a good solution might be to alternate the level ratio when closer to 50. So maybe mobs don't level you at level 40, 43, 46, 49, 52, 55 and at level 56 they hit the cap at 50 (that's on WT2). I think it will help attract more people to this valley by the end of WT2.
3. Raise the threshold of item strength that requires legendary recovery to 500
Being able to print items at 400-499 strength without collecting leggo would make it much easier for people to repair their build at those levels.
4. Increases base attack damage and attack speed
There may be no arcs, but basically get them to a point where using them doesn't hurt, which will make building more fun and reduce the time you're trying to create resources.
5. Increase the density of trash mobs in NM dungeons and make markers very popular for massive power ups for resource generation, cdr or base attack speed or construction smoothing bonuses similar.
Essentially, making the NM dungeon experience closer to Diablo 3 for those who like that style, while allowing world bosses, hell tides, and tree bonuses to retain the slower tactical style.
Please let me know what you all think (and what a horrible person I am for suggestions). By the way, best Diablo 4 gold, cheap diablo IV items and Diablo4 boosting on mmoexp.com, you can buy it anytime and more off for you.
